What We Do

We provide publishers and developers with a range of high-quality professional development services to develop full products or enhance existing team resources.

Our personal and transparent approach to communication enables our clients to maintain flexibility and timely delivery throughout their projects.

Whether we are providing full development services, specific technology for a larger team effort or just helping out on a busy team during crunch, you can be sure of an efficient, reliable and confidential service.

History

Initially established in August 2000 by two experienced industry developers to fill the void in advanced PS2 development, Six By Nine has provided high-end technology development and consultancy services for over 8 years.

In that time we have grown in size and extended our range of development services to include full projects and access to a proven art group. We have worked with many of the largest developers and publishers including Codemasters, Disney, Revolution, Sci, Eutechnyx, Empire and Argonaut.

Until 2003 we worked on a wide range of products providing all manner of technical support services. After that however, we moved to full product development and produced the Colin McRae Rally series of products on the PC for Codemasters. In 2005 we moved to the new PSP platform and produced the launch title Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus.

From 2005 onwards, we have combined our technical and product development experience and taken on a number of projects that have seen us producing full products (such as Flat Out: Head On PSP), helping out other teams (as with Eutechnyx and Empire) and even producing a full motion-base car simulator for Volvo. In this period, we extended our supported platforms and we are now registered developers for XBox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii along with the PS2 and PSP systems.
